- Skincare is always something that's interested me thanks to the influence of my mom. I had great skin when I lived in Nebraska, but developed adult acne when I moved to Austin, Texas five years ago. It's gone now, but clear, beautiful skin is a constant work in progress for me. With the help of a supportive husband, and my family and friends, I started esthetician school in January of 2010 after 7 years in the advertising industry. I obtained my TX esthetics license in August 2010. Just as I was completing school, we found out my husband received a promotion and we were transferred to Bloomington, IL. I plan to take some Austin flair and infuse it in my Midwest practice.
